Beyond Organic products are grown in accordance with organic methods, but are cleaner than products labeled as "certified organic." Beyond Organic produce is grown in a controlled indoor environment without harmful herbicides or pesticides, using IPM (Integrated Pest Management). Produce is fed refined nutrients so that we know what the plants are exposed to. This provides optimal nutrition and avoids toxic contaminants such as arsenic and selenium that may be present with methods that are "certified organic."

Green Certified products are grown using best practices of green methods that are clean, sustainable, and environmentally responsible. Green certification is evaluated independently of organic considerations, and may or may not be organic, as well.

Fresh Dried products are dried immediately after harvest, when fresh flavor and nutrition are at their peak. Other brands of dried herbs or produce sit for days before drying, are subjected to uncontrolled extremes of temperature during drying, and are exposed to overspray and other contaminants from adjacent fields. Our produce and herbs are dried at controlled low temperatures in a protected environment within hours or minutes of picking. Our Fresh Dried products are as clean and nutritionally robust as you can get.

Premium Select items are grown and produced locally under optimal growing conditions. These products are available in limited quantities, and availability may vary seasonally. Fresh Premium Select products are generally available only to walk-in customers or for delivery in the Twin Cities.

Vegetable Capsules for our dried herbs and Asian greens are 100% vegetarian derived from HPMC (Hidroxy propyl methyl Cellulose). Well suited for various cultural, religious, and vegetarian dietary requirements. Kosher certified, preservative free and compatible will all natural health products. Halal certified and inspected. Contains no starch, sugar, corn, soy, wheat, or dairy.
